Format Rules

Teams:

NU - Black 

BU - Red

BC - Yellow/Gold

HU - White

QU - Blue

HC - Grey

Tournament Rules:

1. 15 minute running time games. Be ready to start on time, there will be no warm ups.  

2. Faceoff to start the game, after which all stoppages (i.e goals, goalie covering puck, puck out of play, etc) result in possession being awarded to a team by the referee. When awarded possession, the team will start with the puck behind their own net.  The opposing team must back up to mid ice point to allow the team with possession to start play.

3. Penalties will be called and result in a penalty shot.

Seeding order for determining semi-final games:

• Points (2 pts for a win, 1 pt for a tie)

• Tie breakers 

  1. Points against tied teams

  2. Largest goal differential in games amongst tied teams

  3. Fewest goals allowed in games amongst tied teams

  4. Coin toss
